  • Are you DBS checked?

Yes. I have a full DBS and am registered for the annual update service. I can send a copy of this through.

  • How and when do I pay?

If sessions are ongoing on a weekly basis, I will send out a monthly invoice, with bank details. I require payment for the full calendar month from 1 week before the first lesson that month. You then have until the week after the first session that month to pay, and this is done via bank transfer. If booking the one-off revision techniques workshop, payment is require up front from 1 week before the session, up to the session day itself.

  • What if I need to cancel?

If you need to cancel the session, please let me know with 24 hours notice wherever possible. The session can then hopefully be rearranged. If notice is received within 24 hours of the session, payment will still need to be made. If I need to cancel the session, you will not be billed (the payment for that session will be carried over to the next invoice, if paying monthly).

  • Your sessions are online. Can I have a face-to-face session?

Due to a busy family life, online sessions are easier to facilitate. However, please do ask and I will always see what I can do for those based in Sheffield. I understand that each individual situation is unique.

  • As a parent do I get regular updates on progress?

Yes. I am always happy to email any updates required- please just say if you want more! It's ideal for parents of tutees to know what we're covering in sessions so that they can carry on the discussions together.
